Chief - Lucille Maes

Chief Since 1995

Lucille Maes has been with AAEMC for over twenty years as a volunteer in her early career and as Chief for almost half of that time. Under the direction of Chief Maes, AAEMC has earned multiple awards, advanced the state of EMS, and contributed to our community in a myriad of ways. Chief Maes was awarded the Department of State Health Services Administrator of the Year award in 2004 for her dedication to AAEMC and advancing the needs of EMS in all of our communities. Chief Maes serves on the Governors EMS & Trauma Advisory Committee and served as Chair of the East Texas Gulf Coast Regional Trauma Advisory Council (RAC-R), EMS advisory boards for both Brazosport and San Jacinto College, and helped found the Brazoria County EMS Directors Association. Lucille was named Citizen of the Year in 2004 by the Greater Angleton Chamber of Commerce. Some of the advancements made possible under her reign include: Ensuring that the latest protocols and advances in Emergency Medicine are brought to the citizens of city, Expanding our fleet to ensure service is available despite unforeseen incidences, and managing to keep our organization financially sound despite some rough times in area.

Assistant Chief - Jason Perez

Asst Chief Since - 2004

Jason Perez has served EMS as both a volunteer and and employee. Jason has a strong since of community and serves as a City Council Member for the City of Angleton, Safety Officer of Angleton Fire Department, Former Chairman of the Board - Angleton Chamber of Commerce, Former Chairman of the Board - United Way of Brazoria County, Executive Board Member - Brazoria County Fair Association, Safety Committee - Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Jason was named Citizen of the Year in 2007 by the Greater Angleton Chamber of Commerce. While Jason serves our community in multiple capacities, he brings the same diligence and dedication to AAEMC. His leadership has proved invaluable in maintaining and advancing our organization. Jason has improved our communication systems, ensured our compliance with all the new regulatory laws, and helped maintain employee satisfaction.
