Each year our service responds to approximately 3500 emergencies. An emergency call could be for an elderly patient who has fallen, a child injured while skating or more traumatic injuries from a high-speed motor vehicle collision. But not all emergencies may be trauma related. We also respond to medical emergencies, a diabetic who may have a low blood sugar level. A person experiencing chest pain, a possible heart attack or a person who is not breathing. Any of these types of emergencies could occur within our service area, which encompasses approximately 400 square miles of central Brazoria County. Our Coverage Area includes the following areas:
