Quality and service best define Dr. Adam Corley’s mission in emergency medicine.
Dr. Corley began his career in the healthcare field as an orthopedic technician before becoming an orthopedic physician’s assistant. After graduating from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School, he served as Chief Resident at affiliated hospitals before he began work as an emergency department physician at several Houston-area hospitals. It was at this time that he began his ascension to become one of Houston’s Top Docs.
Dr. Corley has been an emergency physician for 11 years. He has served as the medical director for EMS at Palestine Regional Medical Center for the past 3 years. He has also served as medical director for both Clute and Lake Jackson EMS. He has been the regional medical director in EmCare’s West Division since 2007.
“I love every aspect of emergency medicine,” Dr. Corley said. “We are service specialists. Patients don’t choose their ER doctor.” Because of this, Corley stresses a service-oriented approach in his emergency department, including community outreach programs and maintaining quality service.
