Volunteering
As a combination agency we rely on the dedication of our volunteer staff. These members serve on our 911 crews in frontline roles, functioning as EMT-B’s, AEMT’s and even Paramedics. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, from EMS professionals who want to give back to their local community to Oil & Gas professionals who are looking to serve their neighbors in a meaningful way. Our volunteers work 12-hour to 48-hour shifts alongside our paid ambulance crews.
Volunteer Benefits
Uniform Allowance - We provide basic uniforms to all of our members, and our volunteer staff have a dedicated fund for items not normally provided by the agency.
Training Allowance - want to advance your certification level, or even attend the EMS World Conference? Let us help!
Agency Funded CE’s - we offer a robust online and in-person CE solution to all of our members to help you maintain your certification.
Reimbursement Stipend - it shouldn’t be a financial burden for you to give your time to the community, we help cover the cost of you giving back.
Employment
Looking to join our organization in a paid position? We offer competitive pay and work a well liked 48-96 schedule, though if 48’s aren’t your thing we also offer floater positions that give schedule flexibility. For our part-time staff we divide our schedule into 12-hour blocks that you can put in for based on your availability.
